    paint match for blazing orange

    Does anyone know of a match to blazing orange buell used in 2002.

    How does the color on the fan cover match the color on the frame. It is a 1974 general motors bright orange. I also found a 1975 Volkswagen Fiesta orange that was close.

    Looks pretty damn close to me, I'd have to see it in person and from different angles, but I think your good to go. Looks good

    Could maybe try here to find any info http://www.cyclecolor.com/ID24.HTM Buell colors are listed at the very bottom of the page but there is a link near the top where you can contact them if you don't see "your color". Might help, worth a shot.

    Maybe this can help.

    Color PPG Paint Code For All Colors Four parts clear to 1 part hardener to 11/2 parts
    reducer. Spray 1 drop coat over whole part then
    apply 2 wet coats over entire part.
    *Molten Orange White Base coat DBC-91853
    apply under orange top coat.
    **Reducer depends on temperature. Contact
    your PPG dealer for assistance.
    Reactor Yellow DBC-84218 Clear DCU-2042
    Carbon Black DBC-9700 Hardener DCX-9
    Blue Streak DBC-190388 Reducer** DT-870
    Molten Orange DBC-61876* DT-885
    Volcano Grey DBC-28328 DT-895
    Note: Mix with reducer, spray 3 coats.
