Two wires on the rear seat

I've been told that these two wires were for an anti-vibration system for the passenger. I am skeptical to say the least. Any insight into the truth ?

The red and white wires that go directly into the bottom of the rear seat.

They are in a sleeve, which to me, looks factory, but this is my first look at a Buell.

what year bolt do you have? I have a 07 bolt and that is not on my bike. Never heard of a anti-vib system in rear seat.

the staples shown in the pic are not the factory ones. look closely at the pattern. i suspect somebody removed the seat cover...bought themselves a "heated seat kit"...and had the installation done. betting if you strip a bit of insulation off each wire and hook the red to a 12-volt positive source and white to negative source and wait a few minutes you'll feel warmth on the seat cover. just a hunch
