How much would you spend on a watch?

So, off, off topic. How much would you drop on a wrist watch?

I spent $250 on a Moto 360(Android Wear Smartwatch), I'd probably spend as much as $350 on an upgrade if it had all the features I want.

My ol lady bought me a $1000 watch for an engagement present. I like watches, especially when a fancy night with her comes around. I personally would have a hard time spending that much on a watch though.

My wife splurged $$$ on a vintage WW2 fighter pilot's watch for Christmas for me. It's incredible. I'd never spend much on a watch for myself though. I don't wear one daily, my phone has a clock in it. Actually, I guess that means I spent $199 and signed a two year contract extension on my current 'watch'.

I used to repair watches a long time ago, so I can really get into them. I have a few in the $8k-$10k range, but most are between $2k-$5k range.

To think, each one could be another motorcycle...

The only watch I have was around 600 it was an anniversary gift from years ago its a citizen eco drive, and I unlike most people wear it every day even to work because other than my family and my bike it was the nicest thing I've ever had...

I couldn't justify spending that much on a watch even though i absolutely love it, avid probably never will again!
