    Ulysses Fuel pump

    Hey Everyone, took the Ully out the other day and ran her a bit dry on fuel. After refuelling, I noticed she would die a slow idle till it stopped and the fuel pump seems to have a different noise now, doesn't seem as strong. Underway, she runs OK. I have resigned myself to fitting a new pump. I have checked on Ebay and there seems to be all sorts of options for replacements at reasonable prices. Many advertise as being OEM direct replacements. Has anyone had experience of these pumps????. Cheers Stu from NZ

    Do a Google search for - buell XB fuel pump rebuild. That should give you all the info you need.
    Don't buy a new pump.

    stu: here's an excellent write-up with pics to get you started. keep in mind the 2010 factory pump will not interchange. 2008 has different connector style. it's straight-forward and big money saver over OEM replacement.
