Beautiful job but such a critical part to reproduce yourself that it makes me nervous. I don't know that I could blow down the expressway 90 miles an hour with the rest of these maniacs having peace of mind not thinking about catapulting like a Marvel comic super hero if an engine rotation was in progress. Are you using exactly the same aluminum composition? I noticed you drilled out and removed some material from the bolt to add a dampener recently. Brother I open myself here for criticism as your skill set is FAR above mine but be careful PLEASE!

Harley still produces this part once a year people. Place your order with any dealer NOW. Get on the list so they have an accurate count and you'll have one when you need it. I received my spare in March last year after waiting several months, only 160 bucks. Good luck... don't get yourself killed.

I have never heard about issues with rear isolator, only front.

Have you thought about using an oil filled reservoir as the damper? I know my Mazda 3 has an oil filled engine mount damper, but it eventually starts leaking as well. LOL

    Not worth the trouble IMHO.

The front isolator isn't that big a problem, easy peasy to swap, and parts are available. Why re-invent the wheel?
