Does time of day/ambient temperature matter when doing a TPS reset?

Does time of day/ambient temperature matter when doing a TPS reset? I commute really early in the mornings and don't get home until late at night, so when I do my TPS reset it is usually much colder outside than during the day time.

No. Shouldn't matter a bit. Will make a difference on how long it takes the bike to warm up so you can set the idle properly

I have a 2009 xb12 so that adjustment doesn't exist. I have noticed that on cold mornings it takes me two to three tries to start the bike.

Bad IAT sensor or head temp sensor maybe? Doesn't recognize the cold start?

I pulled the IAC last year and cleaned it... Could it get filthy that fast?

Hmmm. How do I check those two? Is that something ecmdroid can check?

You can monitor both through ECMDroid, so a check of what they read before starting could tell you
