Small How to: Home made tail bag Lightning
Hi,
Just wanted to let you see what I did today.
After searching the entire internet for a original tail bag, I gave up. But is still wanted something to carry some stuff (wallet, sun glasses, etc)
So I took a gamble and bought a Givi T409 from Marktplaats (sort of craigslist in the Netherlands) for EUR 15,-

I took my Dremel and took away the Givi Logo

I then took the bag to my mother (what would I do without her) and ask her to sew a Buell patch to the bag, and it worked out great!!

I also went to the hardware store and got some clips you normally find on a backpack. I used some tyrips to hold 1 part of the clip to the bag, while the other part is screwed to the underside of the seat.

This way I can take it of the bike with no problem and if I drive without the bag the clips will be put away beneath the seat! I'm very happy with the results!

Nice work!
I like the adaptation for the Buell!
Can we see what it looks like on the bike?
Ya know, the whole package?
