Mounting an action camera (on a Firebolt)

I actually did try searching for a while, but I'm probably using incorrect search terms.

Anyway - I have an Olfi camera coming in this next week, and I'd love some advice on where/how to best mount it to a Firebolt. It is compatible with GoPro mounts (I have one), but looking at the bars/switch housings/etc., I'm just not visualizing where I should try to mount the camera.

    Any help appreciated - thanks.

If it's compatible with the GoPro, put a handful of mounts on it. On my DRZ I had one on the headlight shroud, two on my helmet, and one of the articulated mounts on the swingarm. Might as well get creative!

Well the problem with mounting on a Buell is the vibration. Try different spots to see witch is the best. I use mine on helmet seems to work better.

I agree. I have mounted my GoPro on the tank of my tuber and the riser cover of my FLH, and both were disappointing. I like the chest mount best, but it is personal preference.
If it helps, here is a mount comparison video I did a few years ago.

I use the suction cup mount for my GoPro on the air box without a problem.

I'm going through the same thing. Wondering what is the best mounting point. This is air box mounted with the flat sticky mount. some vibration depending on RPM.
