    First I've heard of a Hawk falling apart. I've had 2 and both got good mileage.

    Agreed. Maybe Randy will repair if you pay shipping? Wouldn't hurt to ask. I've talked to him on the phone a couple of times and he seemed like a decent guy. If you do go with the drummer you'll have a spare exhaust or possibly resell it to recoup some change.

    I have two Hawks, on an XB and a tuber, that have served me well for many years. I bought the tuber pipe used after that piece fell out. It still sounds great and has not given me a single problem in four years.
