The Chronicles Of A Ss Swingarm Install

Cut off belt guard mounts, because who keeps those on.

Down to bare metal on the majority of it.

    To be continued...

    Thanks guys.

I got the rest of the sanding done, one more round of kerosene in the oil tank and plugs in all the holes. Now to let it dry and start priming.

I've been wanting to cut off those tabs for years. I'm just worried about the color match.
What are you planning for paint?

BTW I like it. Some guys will bust your chops about running your bike without belt guards but I think the bike looks much better without em. If it were a Uly, I'd agree, belt guards should stay. But on a street bike... Who needs em!

I've had my belt guards off for 15k miles, with no problems. I never go off road where I would possibly need them.

I am going to be using the factory Phantom Black Buell paint.
