    xb headlight housing repair ???

    What is the best way to take apart the headlight housing? I know it is sealed with what looks like silicone, and the two halves are very tight. I don't want to crack the piece. There is 4 tabs that click it in to place around the housing, and I can get a small flat head in enough to barely open them, but it won't pull apart, and I am weary prying it. I was thinking of applying some heat to loosen the silicone??? any other thoughts?

    I don't know why you want in there... But yes, a bit of heat and PATIENCE will work it apart.
    The hard part is sealing it back up correctly
