Just picked up my 2006 XB12Ss

As the title states, I picked up my Buell about a week and a half ago. It is blue with orange wheels and 6100 miles when I got it. I love the amount of TQ these have. I have been reading ad researching the forum here before buying the bike, and now more research on everything from maintenance to upgrades and parts.

Make sure to get the frame protection pucks...
Also do an oil change and primary change if nit done recently.
Brake fluids too.
Check all main battery wire connections and think about a new battery if more than two years old...

Thank you. It had a new battery and tires last year. Just had a tune up with fluid change in June. I plan on. Keeping this for many, many years.

slick ride... if you don't have a race map and all that in it, do it. put good brake pads on it, makes a difference. tail chop wouldn't hurt either.. LEDs would be cool

I am definitely going to chop the tail and do LEDs. Will also be getting frame pucks and bar end mirrors. Don't have a lot of cash to throw into parts, contemplating building custom exhaust for it.
