Thread: ceramic coated exaust

Has anyone used the ceramic coated pipes that are found at american sportbike? I am wondering if they discolor or chip. Also how is the overall finnish?I am thinking of ordering a set and then sending mine back to minimise down time.

It would be cheaper to just get your stock pipes ceramic coated. And as far as discoloring they shouldnt, I have buddies who have done turbo setups on their trucks and the ceramic coated headers hves never colored and those heat up more than a bike header will. And the chipping will depend on the quality of work of who ever does the coating.
