    Airbox Cover Lettering

Got a new translucent airbox cover and need to install the BUELL letters. Did a search here with no hits and would appreciate any input from members who have done it. I want the alignment to be perfect and no issues with adhesion.

Watched a you tube clip where a guy taped a decal across the middle with painters tape before cutting sticky back off one side of decal. Should work well on the Buell lettering too. Now I have to decide if I want lettering on the cherry bomb cover or not. Like it both ways and still have the original. Just stocking up for when parts become unavailable.

I have always used string and putty to get my center lines stright. Basically I make a grid with Lots of string and putty. It takes a wile but it's a sure thing.
