thanks much james....and thanks also DJS. appreciate the well wishes. no ride james and weather was wonderful but pretty windy here. stayed home, had a few friends over, and watched the eagles lose to the lowly lions. bastards couldn't even win one for the birthday boy.

Sorry for the Eagles loss, John. I lived in Bethlehem, PA for several years in the mid 90s when I was in school at Lehigh University and enjoyed going to watch the Eagles practice at the Lehigh stadium...back when Randall Cunningham was the QB. Good times. Sounds like they are doing good so far this year with the rookie QB even with today's loss. And watching a game with a few friends sounds like a great way to spend a birthday to me!
Well my Atlanta falcons dethroned the Denver broncos if that makes anyone feel better....
