    tps reset

I think i messed up my TPS reset. I plugged in the Buelltooth dongle, connected and then backed out my screw to 0. I then reset the TPS, and start the motor. Well tried to start the motor. At 0% not gonna happen, so I turn in the screw until the motor runs. It runs, but backfires and stalls and revs between 900-1500rpm with no input. I take it for a spin, it goes, but when i come to a stop, it idles rough, bouncing between 1000-1500 rpm. When I look at the TPS, it only reads to 85%.

My question is, are these the symptoms you would get if I started the motor before bringing TPS to 5.5% Tomorrow I will do another TPS, Properly. Just trying to rule out a faulty sensor, or anything else before i kick this thing.

    Any input is appreciated!

I did a proper tps reset, and everything is running back within specs.

Congrats for figuring it out on your own. You missed the step after resetting the tps to put the tps around 5. Fire up the bike. Then adjust it to the correct idle speed.
