Lowering the White Lightening

How has EBR lowered this bike?

I picked up one of these, dropped the back of mine by almost an inch. Handles exactly the same, doesn't dive as much with hard front braking. I'm wanting to put more miles on before I give my final thoughts, but the only thing I noticed was it cuts into corners sooner/faster than before.
