Fellow Buellers, I have just purchased a XB12Ss and it came with this exhaust. Does anyone know what it is and also the bike has no chin spoiler, is this totally necessary and am I able to put one on if I want to, thnak.

Hey there Outlaw, I tried a google search on Tadakatsu to find out a bit more on this pipe but couldnt find anything. Would appreciate anything you found out about him. I'm in two minds on whether to replace it or leave it. I guess a dyno run will be on the cards to see what its doing.

I couldn't find much either. Just read the name is linked with exhaust inventions for different motorcycle companies and ect. If it sounds good and feels strong I say run it. Makes your bike a bit more unique.

Basically a Helmholtz resonator, which cancels out frequencies.

I tried uploading a video but it only seems to accept url's. The picture of me on the bike was suppose to be a video. Tech isn't really my thing. I'll be taking it to an exhaust guy when time allows and get his thoughts. Once I have that sorted (modify whats there/replace or leave it on) it will be off for a tune.
