Lower belt guard bolt

Hi all,

Anyone have a spare bolt (or know of a source) for the lower belt guard? I guess they are no longer available from Harley (according to my local dealer) and one of mine is almost completely stripped.

The very expensive, but good looking, solution is Twin Motorcycles' black anodized bolts....I bit the bullet and bought enough to do both guards, front fender, airbox, and chin cowl....

Good call on McMaster. I didn't think to look there...figured that these bolts might be a specialty item that they wouldn't stock. But, it looks like they might have something close. Thanks for the idea.

I have a bunch of spare "Buell" bolts.
LMK what the length is of the one you're missing. If I have two I'll send you one.

Thanks, Chicknstripn! It is a T-27 bolt that is 1/2 inch long (not including the head) and the head is 9/16 inch in diameter.

I have one that's 1/2 inch grip length (the thread measurement) and one the 3/4. They're both black and they aren't in pristine shape. The threads are good, they are factory bolts, and they are free!

I was able to order those from my HD dealer a week or so ago. The caveat was that I had to take 10.
