buell xb speedo instrument cluster interchangeable?

I have an 03 xb9s and the mileage button on my speedo has broke. Im looking for a used one on ebay with similar miles but iv heard the later years are wired slightly differently. Does anyone know for sure. Thanks

gauge cluster faces specific thru the years for particular models. they are interchangeable BUT needle removal/install tricky.
plugs vary. simply memorize the color coded wires and the plugs on your existing cluster OR take a few quality pics.....then go shopping for one with identical wiring and plugs.
