    Common equipment failure

I love my Buell, I've been systematically replacing components that I see people in here having trouble with and stock piling my existing parts for the future. With Harley dumping their remaining inventory to 'Vintage Parts' and bits like Isolators taking a year on back order jacking a 50% price increase to acquire I'd like to keep my bike in the family for years to come so.....

I would like to hear from owners (long time members) what parts they keep on hand. Here are my concerns from popular topics I see after reading in here. Don't bother to mention things we will always be able to find or are compatible with other manufactured common parts like bearings, cables, sensors, lifters etc. Mostly just Buell specific parts please

    Isolator
    fuel pump
    drive belt
    ECM

Fuel pump ? From what I understand, a Mustang fuel pump of the proper year (93 ? ) Works.

Nice to know about the fuel pump.
How about the regulator and brake rotors? (especially the front rotor) Do we have alternatives?

TPEHAK installed a sportster VR. Note that the mounting holes are not in the same spot

Really! excellent, I was dreading the cost of those and it was actually next on my wish list. Screw it if HD sportster voltage regulators are interchangeable. Now tell me something good about the front brake rotor, can it be turned, what is the average life expectancy?

Take it to a shop and have them aluminum oxide or glass bead blast it. First try to scotch Brite it yourself
