    You may still need to set bits 3:0 of EDiag4 (Error Mask Byte 4) to mask off the AMC errors.
    In ECMDroid, look under Error Mask -> Exhaust Valve Actuator

    I don't think ECMDroid has "Exhaust actuator" listed in the error mask section?

    I know you can uncheck "enable exhaust valve" under ECM parameters and that should stop the code 21 as well.

    @jmcelroy: can you post again the pictures with the Dorman 911-912 intake tract valve controller? I want to compare with the unit that i bought. In my case, it is not working - it's not making the open and close cycle with the combination of killswith on, throttle fully open and key on.

    Thank you very much for this write-up. I just purchased a 2007 XB12X (my first Buell) and found that the module had a broken ear that holds the cable, and that someone had over-rotated the gear and damaged it.
