    Tail Luggage

Is anyone using this bag or something similar on their Lightning that you would recommend?

That thing is huge! I hope it has room for your curling iron

Personally the weight is to high for me and the soft sides let it shift around. I went with saddlebags and a tank bag.

You could literally bungee a duffel you have now and see what you think.

I'm not looking for a bag to put my cigarettes into, rather something that I may be even be able to use for camping.

This is what I use, https://www.wholesalemarine.com/kwik...uffle-bag.html
Plus I bought Revpaks, they are soft bags that I put on the ully pack frames. Very reasonably priced they're water proof and they can be and are used for carrying beer and ice !

I went with this Tourmaster tail bag. Decent size for a trip cross country.... Had to reinstall the passenger foot rests to have a proper place to strap it down....

What model Tourmaster is that? It seems ideal for what I sometimes need (larger than the contoured one I have now).

I am looking for a smaller one (so I can ditch the backpack). I ride just about everyday, and when I have PT days, I have to pack the backpack full, and it is a PITA to ride with. I think this one would be good for my case. At $118 pn Revzillza, it not terribly expensive...

That looks good for a back pack solution. I used to ride long hours with a full back pack and the shoulder pain can become very real.

Everyday my commute is roughly 40+mins, and the straps dig into my shoulders/pits, even if packed light, because you need to tighten straps to keep backpack planted...
