    Stator Issues

I have a Buell Firebolt that was bought with a bad Stator. I would like to know the correct way on checking the 3 wire leads with a volt meter? I seen it before but I'm having a hard time finding it now. I can't get any reading on my meter. I have to be doing something wrong. Thanks in advance

Have you done any google searching?
Search buell xb stator test and you should find videos and threads all cover the topic that has alluded you.
Go to www.buellmods.com for some direction from the service manual.
Also helps is you state the year, mileage and mods currently on the bike.
07 and older Buell's have a 77 connector that can cause charging issues.
08 and newer do not have this connector.
Give us some more ingredients so we can spoon feed a more complete answer

jim and i authored the stator check years ago. start here and also what carlos said above. different check procedures for different stator styles. there are single and 3 phase stators. the trouble shooting procedures are different.
