    Wow. 17.9lbs pull. Totally repeatable.

Very smooth linear pull at half the effort and only 7.7lb hold?!?

    Worth every penny.
For giggles I tested the XB (Stella) that has a stock clutch, shorty levers and a new cable and it was very close to being the same (about 1lb more).

    Thats impressive.

I got word on the weird headlight smokey white mark thing too.
I asked LAP (who I bought the replacement headlight from) and after sending pics, they referred to EBR and immediately sent out a new unit with a tag to return the old one.

They mentioned the supplier was aware of the issue for the early bikes (mines #000024 for 2014) and requested my Vin# to see if some snuck through.

Very NICE customer service from LAP (through e-bay even!) matches what I've experienced from EBR to this date. Classy bunch.

I'll swap the headlight again once I'm home (Mom's b-day in Portland)

Thanks Silver, It’s that time at 6k miles! I just need to get a solid day in the shop. It’s not a job I want to get 1/2 way done and get distracted for a week.... It will be a few weeks until I get that chance but I promise I will take lots of pics during the process and share them

Funny story here, I didnt plug mine and the brake fluid drained into my collector as you can see in the pic unknown to me at the time, Once done fired it up and smoke was coming out of my exhaust I was very worried at first, till I figured out what took place.

That’s good news about the slave I still need to get one.

I am doing the valves on my bike this week or next. I have 5400 or something on it right now. Kinda excited to tear it apart but I have had a new project I have been working on.

1979 chevette. New Holley carb, new distributor and coil, new clutch, tranny mount motor mounts torque tube mount, new brakes and lines, new shocks springs all ball joints inner and outer tie rods. Rebuilt the rack and pinion. New wheels and tires. Lol in the chevette what am I doing with my life!!!?

I get back from almost 3 weeks and 3500 miles (? ill add them up) and the first post I see in my rambling, non-sensical, train-of-motorcycle-consciousness thread.. is a CHEVETTE!?!

Nice job man! It is sick and wrong and so damn cool all at once. Dare to be different for sure! When does the LS swap start?

FYI, I'm currently infatuated with MK1 Rabbits (Golfs to you Euro peeps)

    In diesel of course...

I like your Chevette. My commuter is a 1990 Plymouth horizon. 34mpg and it parks anywhere, no worries about door dings.
