    Felt really good !

Well the 2007 xb12ss now has 625 miles on it, the Doc ok'd me last evening so, after work today I pulled the bike out and went to the gas station filled it up and, road home ! My hands felt like I was riding for hours so it's still going to take awhile. The new to me bike ran flawlessly so when I got home I changed the oil and filter, tomorrow I'll change the primary oil and just double check everything that I can.

Oddly it felt like I never had the accident and, I never stopped riding !

Pics or it didn't........ Glad your back with the living

In honor of Robert M. Pirsigs recent passing I give you this present, for getting back in the saddle:

“In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame.

On a cycle the frame is gone. You're completely in contact with it all. You're in the scene, not just watching it anymore, and the sense of presence is overwhelming.”

Thanks for all the well wishes, Cooter, Pirsig was spot on with that statement.
Silverrider, I'm not going to put too many miles on it too soon but, only because I'm still on the mend, after that, I'm going to ride the wheels off ! Going elk hunting in Colorado in September and, tentative Alaska trip next year, I have to get into shape.
Yes, yes, I must get this picture thing going, hopefully soon.

Kenny , refresh my memory with a pic of before and after, I kinda remember a bike with wood dust on it.
