Lightning as a flat track dirt racer???

Guy has one for sale cheap locally, local track is pretty loose on what bike you can run. Hell, for under 2k i think with the right tires a buell would be a fun bike to race

New to the site and seen your post and wanted to post a picture from my phone but don’t know how
Best then to do a search for shr enterprises or grand national replica
This company builds a current chrome moly tube flat track frame for a Buell xb12 engine
Many options can be chosen for a complete build or buy just the frame and build it your way

This sounds awesome and they look amazing with off road tires, please post pics! A couple thoughts, definitely protect the frame and fuel tank, do something more solid than the stock pucks that come on it. I would expect a flat track bike to go down a lot. And would the steering geometry make it twitchy? I would think a more relaxed head angle would make it easier to drift around the corners. Full disclosure, I don't have experience on this, just speculating from my limited dirt experience.

Depends on the phone too. A long press in the text box and you may get an "insert photo or video" button. I looked at the site and theres not many pics there, hopefully he's got more!
A stock XB-12 engine should be fast with that super light frame He should know the 9's are just about as torquey with some extra RPM up top?
