    Time for a new belt: '08 XB12Ss

It looks like it might be time for a new belt. Mine looks like it's dry rotting or something, although it hasn't snapped and has over 33,000 miles on it.

I'm seeing that it's a 135T 1.125" belt. A few part numbers keep popping up:
    • BDL SPC-135-118 (Goodyear part number)
    • G0500.1AKF (HD part number)

Can anyone verify that these are the most current part numbers for a 2008 XB12Ss?

I figured I may as well get a spare for my '09 1125CR as well. Any information on that would be helpful too.

    Thanks!

the H-D part # and sizing is correct that you listed. part # coincides with 65/27 toothed pulley combo....long swingarm.
there is no "updated" or "superseded" part #. fits: X, XT,SS, STT, XP models. falcon-goodyear also make excellent belt. price shop. retail as i recall was around $149

    G0500.1ATB----- Drive Belt, 2009-2010 1125CR Only----does NOT fit R model.

can tell how much you appreciate me digging up the correct part numbers. you're welcome

Hey John, I thought I read that the belt for the STT was a different size because of the shorter length ?

Very much appreciate this info. Great to have the enthusiast support on the forums... wouldn't be very easy to maintain these machines without it.
