Thread: Yet another engine vent tube?

    Yet another engine vent tube?

    I've got a 2009 XB9SX. Got a chance to take a closer look all over, and saw this 5/8" rubber hose connected immediately behind the rear cylinder, on the right side.
    Is it supposed to be there? Looks like something the PO cobbled together. It's routed up and over to the shock.
    If it's even supposed to exist, should this tubing be routed elsewhere?

    trans/primary vent. it is correct as is the routing of same. for more info click here and scroll to end. nice easy cheap little mod to clean it up. recommended.
