XB12SS Halogen to Leds worth doing?

Hi fellow Buellers. Thinking of swapping to aftermarket led headlight bulbs. Are the cheap ebay onse ok or should you spend the money on a good brand? Good or bad idea? Done the both on headlight mod but she needs more light. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. By the way doing the jump wire fusion of the blue & yellow wire in the switch was the best way i found of doing that mod. Tried pulling the pins in the connection block & switching orange & yellow, what a pain in the butt that was!! Did it in the end using a tiny flat blade screw driver instead of a nail which worked heaps better but switched em back in the end & went for the other idea so i still get my parking light. Anyway off the subject sorry.

Here is another way to do the dual headlight mod:

You might also want to look at the LED plug and play headlights by Marcel on Facebook:

Unsure... I think it was $225 the last time I heard of a price... you can message him and get a quote.

I installed these. Did the low beam a couple years ago. High beam this winter. They are bright, (4500 lumens each) and work well. There is room for the tinned copper heat sink braid but it is noticeable. Not as neat as Marcel's but they're only $45 each.

Thats a great link, thanks. How long have you had them so far? I'm curious about the longevity of LED's.

Yeah i second what Cooter said. Heaps cheaper than Marcel's but his set up looks so cool.
