Anyone have any idea why when I start it up it wont stay running unless you give it some gas. Simple Fix?
If you leave it run without giving it some throttle it will clunk out and die.

Idle set too low maybe? Have you checked your plugs? Sorry, not real familiar with the X1's.

have you done a any mods to it? I bet if you do a TPS reset you would solve the problem. You will need ECMspy to do this though. You can get the cable from americansportbike.com and ECM spy you can download for free. PM me if you need some help. OR you can go to www.badweatherbikers.com/ and click on old school buell. There is alot of people there that know alot about the older buell models. :)
Did this just start happening? Any recent changes?
Is the bike cold and does it idle normal once warmed up. Check your idle speed once good and warmed up (150+degs) and set to 1050-1200 or so.
Double-check your exhaust header torques. An air leak could foul your O2 sensor readings.
You could just need a TPS reset. Definitely snag the ECMspy cable and software, this will save you lots of coin from the dealer.
Another possibilty may be related to your fuel pump. How does it sound while it primes? Normal, squeal or more of a groan?
