I'm pretty sure the TPS is a regular maintenance reset item, especially when ever you change anything having to do with the running of the motor !
I am leaning toward getting one of Deans kits with the exhaust and ECM. After installation do I need to do anything with the tps or is it just ready to ride? Thanks

The new ECM will need the TPS re-set to apply the right correction factor.
It's very easy. Get a communication device like the Buelltooth bluetooth dongle (less than $50 at Buelltooth.com), and get the free software ECMDroid (also on that site).
It will let you TPS re-set, check codes, diagnose a TON of stuff, change ECM perimeters. Even swap in different fuel maps (but you won't need to do that with Deans ECM from IDS).
Thanks Cooter, I will check that out. Do you still have a tow truck?
I don't have an ecm available from IDS as of yet, I'm still working on getting that accomplished. 2008+ is available though. I may have found a test mule to do tuning on, so it's just a matter of time.
I had a truck, but never a tow truck??
Yep, it even looks like him.........................?
When I bought Deans Keda for my 08 he didn't have a ECM available at that time so Dean/Tim suggested me to get a D&D ECM, As I remembered and it did take care of my decel popping.
