That machine must be insane with that kind of torque and power.

The Audi project sounds killer too! I have an S5 with AWE fun parts, the same engine, and freakin' love that toy. Are you posting that build somewhere?
Ya, I realllllly enjoy the RS4's engine. I haven't started a build thread yet, but I'll share a link when I do.

My clutch setup has worked out really well! I haven't put any time into trying to setup the slipper function, but it continued to hold all the torque with only 220lbs of clutch spring which made for a super easy clutch pull. Much nicer to ride compared to the old setup.

This is an awesome update. Good to see you post again. I have an 08 A4 (195k miles) thats been paid off for quite some time, I threaten building it up or going the RS4 route like you did. They are an awesome looking car with the wide body look to them. How many miles on that? Definitely share a link if you start a thread somewhere. I imagine you'll get way more input than you want on an audi forum.

Ive been wanting to investigate your cush drive setup for the 1190 and see if its possible to do without machining the wheel.

Subscribed and keen to see updates!

Any info on the EFR5951? Haven't seen any release information on it yet but pretty eager to run one myself!

The EFR5951 program is in the prototype phase so they are not available to customers yet. We displayed a prototype at SEMA and PRI last year. We are working to get production supplier commitments and will announce a production release sometime in the future. We may be making some big changes to the current design before releasing.

What a cool new hi-end turbo, I was really intrigued by the internal BOV! I had no idea you were involved with that program, but can't say I'm much surprised

Great to see that the program is still running. I approached BW about the subject a number of times via different emails with no response, was starting to get worried that it would get canned.

Interesting that the turbo will be subject to big design changes. The current architecture (if similar to 6258) is sound and I hope that the design changes are for even better performance.

Just an update for everyone - I gave up. I came to the realization that my heart was just not in this build anymore. I sold all my Buell related things including all parts to a guy in Greenville, SC. I'm not sure what he will do with everything. It's been a really awesome 13 years of Buell and it's time to move on.

As a follow up to the sale of my XB, I went out and bought a new 2018 KTM Super Duke 1290 R. It's a wicked and comfortable machine and does everything I need and want. Time to focus my efforts on my Audi build and enjoy riding two wheels again2018 KTM SD 1290 R.jpg
