As some of you know the best way to stay warm during winter riding is to use heated gear. I have pretty popular heated gear set from Firstgear (gloves liners, jacket liner, pans liner, socks liners) with Dual Remote Control Heat-Troller. I use this particular model https://www.amazon.com/Firstgear-Dua...ustomerReviews
It was mounted on my handlebar on the front brake fluid container during last couple years with ziptie and it looked pretty sketchy and not accurate. So I decided to design holder for the heattroller to mount it nice and firm.
So to build your own heattroller holder for your Buell XB you need to :
- have access to extrusion 3D printer
- download this STL model of the holder I shared https://drive.google.com/file/d/12k0...ew?usp=sharing
- buy 2 Alloy Steel Flanged Button Head Screws Black-Oxide, M6 x 1.00 mm Thread, 50mm Long https://www.mcmaster.com/#92137a685/=1cagisq
- buy a short piece of aluminum tube 0.245" Inside Diameter , 3/8" Outside Diameter https://www.mcmaster.com/#1968t69/=1cagjhi
Upload the STL model to the 3D Printer and print the holder using UV resistant strong plastic filament
Extract the holder from the 3D Printer and install heattroller and attach ziptie to the channels on the back side
Cut two spacers from the aluminum tube. Each spacer should be 29.8 mm long.
Unscrew the clamp from the front brake bracket
Attach screws and spacers to the holder
Attach the clamp to the holder
Install the holder with heattroller on the front brake bracket
Enjoy warm ride!

don't own or need "heated riding gear".......don't own or have access to an "extrusion 3D printer"..... wouldn't be caught dead mounting dumb gizmos like that onto any of my 25 assorted bikes. what DOES concern me though TEABAG is the unsightly yellow discoloration around your fingernails. can either be the result of a serious fungal infection or dietary considerations. are you getting enough vitamin C?

TPEHAK, but what do you do to stay warm in the other 4 gears?
After all that .... the best you could come up with is a zip tie to hold it in place . Why not water jet some amazing metal clamp. Or build yer own controller that isn't the size of an 8 track player. I'm a little let down.
I miss 8 track players !
