Yeah silver rider I order that same one last night... I was just posting up the odd gurgling sound. New pump and regulator are on their way.
If the bike has sat for over a year, you’ll definitely want to drain the fuel and pull the pump.
Definitely sounds like the pump needs some attention.
I’ve NEVER heard the pump on my bike make a “gurgling” sound. Only sound mine makes is the typical high pitch whine when the pump primes.
Once you do remove the pump, and you address any issues related to the health of the pump, you’ll at least be able to rule that part out of your trouble shooting...

So I put the fuel pump in and it works good perfecto.!! But the injectors are clogged... lmao too funny.. so I am now on the hunt for injectors, then it’s go time.. hopefully.
I picked up the quantum fuel system pump and it has everything I needed to do it other than o rings. Nice set up for the money.

And you can use a 9v battery to activate the coil and get a little cleaner by tapping the terminals.
An ultrasonic jewelry cleaner works well too.
