Hey I had a crazy idea while sitting in class today. What if you took a cafe racer style headlight fairing and threw it on an XB9s. Seems easy in theory considering it's basically already naked in the headlight portion of the bike. So I just took about a minute to poorly put together this mock up of what it WOULD look like... lmk what you think and if you could get behind the idea. I think the only thing it might need is some lower or inverted bars which is a lil inconvenient since the bike is already leaned over a bit. But hey I haven't actually played with it in real life either. Do I go for it???? Or do I just leave it to the hipsters???

IMO your rendering looks like an xbr with a goofy fairing.
However, it’s not my bike, it yours.
Do what you want with it.
Just don’t leave it stock
Anything is cooler than stock
Hey Chicken, you don't like lollipops and cheese graters???
do the tale too like on this blast...
Keeping your motorcycle stock is the worst thing you can do with your motorcycle.
Youngster's , what do they know, someday, my stock 12SS will be worth more than your goofed up moded bike, not to mention it looks better to !
P.S. let's go riding in the rain, then see what happens.

I agree with Loco. When I am buying a new Buell (or any motorcycle) the closer to stock, the better (with certain exceptions). Modded bikes are cool, and I am totally guilty of modding out a stock bike, but when I'm buying, the more mods, the lower the value.... unless its something like an 1125 with the oiling rotor mod/update, etc.
and from the other forum I frequent...

Mods add more value if they are well crafted https://www.buellxb.com/forum/showth...l=1#post601432
