    Isle of man TT

Hope everyone is following qualifying, velocity will be covering the TT also this yr. Unfortunately Dan Kneen aboard the Tyco BMW lost control, crashed and passed away on track. Also because of the incident another rider hit a course car and had to be airlifted to the hospital. Fingers crossed for no more death this yr.

Here’s a cut and paste from that course in Wikipedia:

Between 1907 and 2018 there have been 147 fatalities during official practices or races on the Snaefell Mountain Course, and 255 total fatalities (this number includes the riders killed during the Manx Grand Prix, and Clubman TT race series of the late 1940s/1950s).[8][44][45] In 2016, 5 riders died on the course during official practices or races, bringing the total number of fatalities to 252.

Well, not a Dunlop fan at all, but turned my hatred off and am very happy the Tyco team took the win, they needed it for Dan. Was really pulling for Dean Harrison but he had to retire on lap 4, nonetheless he broke heavily into the 134mph mark and sub 17 min lap times to shatter all previous records and at every sector. Maybe next race.....
