Your parking lights.... do they have constant power or only when the key is in the acc position?
That might be your problem.
Use your headlight power as your switched power.
I think I read the way you wired it correctly
Good morning all
So I wired the relay :
Terminal 30 12v from Accessory Plug
Terminal 85 to ground / Accessory Plug (-)
Terminal 86 switched with the running lights wire (orange wire)
Terminal 87a LED Accessory (+) /// I need it Normally Closed NC (it's a dummy flashing LED)
LED Accessory (-) to Ground / Accessory Plug (-)
But for some reason my LED accessory didn't turned on, and I've check with a multimeter and also plugged a test bulb directly to the accessory plug and it's showed 0 Volt
The battery is OK and the Acc. Fuse (10A) in the fuse box is OK.
Any one have an idea what's wrong ?
Thank you for your help and have a great weekend !!

Ugh.... I've found this information on another forum...
Actually the kill switch has to be on, the ignition on and the engine started. Once the system sees proper voltage then it energizes the accy. plug. The system will cut power to the acc. plug if voltage drops too low.
Can anyone confirm this ? I cannot believe they did this set up...
So I guess I'll have to run a wire directly from the battery (+ in-line fuse). This is so annoying
I thought that having an accessory plug meant you don’t need a relay. The plug should be prewired and fused to come on with the key.
Have you checked power at the plug when the key is on?
Either way, my experience wiring accessories is with a relay that uses switched power to connect the power from the battery.... my 07 does not have an accessory plug this is why I used a relay to power components.
I believe with an accessory plug you shouldn’t need the relay but I’m out of my league on this one.
Hopefully someone with a greater working knowledge of the 08 and up wiring systems will chime in to help.
I hope I haven’t misguided you in any way.
Good luck
I confirm this. When I connected voltmeter gauge to the accessories plug it showed voltage only after starting the engine, so I had to find another spot to connect the voltmeter. This is safety feature to prevent draining the battery if you forgot to shut the connected gadget after shutting the engine.

Thank you Tpehak !!
Such a bummer, I'll try to find a path to run a wire from the battery then
Can I use the ground from the connector ?
Thanks !

You can use ground wire from connector (double-check if it is shortened on the frame).
So you just want a dummy self flashing LED to turn on when the bike is off?
Easy. No relay needed.
Wire the Anode (+, long end) to a constant (+) source. Theres one right from the key switch 4-pin connector.
Wire the Cathode (-, short end) to a switched ignition source. Also at the key switch 4-pin.
So Ignition on, the LED is OFF because it is being supplied with (+) on both ends. No current flow = no light.
Ignition off, the LED is ON because the ignition supply wire is now it's (-) source. Current flow through the LED will turn it on.
