I just changed my EBR1190 pegs to the 1" lower ones, and it was 10 min very easy , screw driver the clip off the bottom , I put a rag over it so I would not loose the spring in the house , pulled the pin out placed the new peg pushed the spring in place at the same time pushed the pin in and put the clip on, then lowered the Quick shifter and the brake down a little.

Cooter, thanks for the detailed explanation. The footpeg is supposed to arrive Friday so I will be putting your instructions to use soon. And I'll definitely have a beer or two after.

Just installed the new footpeg... wow. Way easier than expected. In the Navy, we would say I "nuked it" - way overthought and over-analyzed it, haha. Thanks for the instructions, videos, and tips. Here are a couple pics of the before and after. Right Footpeg Broken.jpgRight Footpeg New.jpg
Next project - new lights. But now, it's time for a beer.
