My favorite thing.
When ever I change transmission oil on my XB12r, I loosen the clutch cable unhook it from the lever, thread it down and lay it on the floor for a couple minutes and when new transmission oil just starts to run out. You know the cable is sufficiently lubed. Sure beats taking it completely off and hanging it up to oil it.

so you're sliding up the gator....loosening the adjustment barrel....removing cable from perch and lever....removing cable support bracket from front engine mount....and laying it on the floor to "save time"? LOL
i must say CHICAGO this is one of your finest efforts to date.
WARNING: novices......do NOT do this!
