    Holy Header Swap Batman...

2006 Firebolt XB12R bought it with a slight crack in the front header. Anyway got worse. Trying to swap it out. Got the old one off, but the new one absolutely refuses to go back in. I've removed the o2 sensore and still nothing. I've even pulled the fan after jacking the back wheel up and taking out the rear shock. It's got plenty of room on the topside, I just can't get the bend towards the frame and the header facing the head. Help.. wtf am I missing here guys?

    Thanks,

Position the front header in it's spot without the flange over the studs, then you can put the rear in. Take care not to get it suck on the studs, and sometimes a little tap with your hand to pop it in place.

Master these, and you will master the art of positioning an XB header without rotating the engine grasshopper.
