    I am jealous.
We just don't get snow where I live anymore.
It's gets cold, but just never seems to snow anymore.

It losses its appeal pretty quickly at things get down near zero. I still hate the wind a lot more though.

Thanks! I wasn't the biggest fan when I picked it up. My first XB was a black 03 and I really like black bikes, in case that wasn't obvious, but the color scheme has really grown on me over the years.

I will agree that the graphics aren't my favorite as far as taste goes. If they weren't so rare, I wouldnt be a fan.

The mirrors are pretty cool. Do you like them? What are they? I just have the $20 ebay special bar end mirrors on mine. They do the trick, but do make the bike look overly wide in the handlebar.

The mirrors are some model of Rizoma that the previous owner put on. They work excellent; very solid, no vibration, and a bit of a convex profile to give a good view of what's going on. That being said, I don't care for them for a couple reasons. They're a little low and really make you take your eyes off of what is going on down the road to see what's behind you. I'm in the DFW area and I'm constantly watching my six in traffic. I'd prefer a mirror that didn't force me to take my eyes so far off the road ahead. The other problem I have with them is how wide they make the bike. Since they don't fold in, the bike is roughly 35" wide. It isn't uncommon for traffic to come to a complete standstill here, and the mirrors make it more difficult to cleanly filter through cars and get on an alternate route. Both complaints are somewhat unique to my riding situation, if I was out cruising the open road more they would be great.

When I first picked up the bike I started researching a narrower handle bar setup but it seamed to snowball with everything I would want to get setup, so I abandoned the idea and just decided to ride the bike as is for now.
