Yes, I really do it. Video on my website. Mom isn't really happy about either but she's learned to not tell me what not to do. I just do it faster.
I'm not a fan of talent shows but I do hope to get booked on Germany's Guinness World Records TV show after I film me doing this stunt. Trick is finding a track to let me do it.

I've been swallowing swords in my show for 9 years. I've always wanted a solo Guinness World Record. I have several but they are Group records. My father passed away 2 and a half years but before he did he told me, "If there is anything in this world that you want to do, don't put it off. Just do it." About two years ago I was riding his Yamaha Super Tenere around and I thought, I want a solo record. What can I do? Then it hit me. Combine two things I already do that nobody has ever done.
As far as the risk, the only thing that concerns me is if the bike fails in any way. I've been practicing taking off, hitting 50 mph, popping in neutral and coming to a nice controlled stop for a year and a half on my Buell. I bought it because my Yamaha and my Sportster do not have the right riding position for a safe sword swallow ride. The Firebolt's aggressive position is perfect. Cooter has agreed to check her over for me and see if there is anything that needs to be corrected on it. My brother is coming to town next sunday with a motion picture quality camera and we have 1 week to do it. Going to the drag strip tomorrow night for "test and tune" in hopes to talk them into letting us do it there.
