anyone run their xb without the oil cooler installed

Has anyone removed the oil cooler off the XB and rode the bike?

I got a big leak on the cooler enough that it's not safe to ride. I have took the cooler off to get a new set of lines made up to suit a setrab cooler i have coming, but could do with using the bike.

I reckon that I could just plug the fittings and run the bike no problems, but just wondering if anyone else has done it

would that be a british summer or texas/florida summer? UK summer we are maxing at 28c round here around 80f.

Can't really race the bike around here as too many police ;-)

You absolutely need the oil cooler. These bikes already run very hot.
