CEL donīt lit, engine don't turn

Rode my XB9S, 2003, just fine, stopped for a short while, turned the key, all (i.e. neutral and oil) but the CEL lights up, no sound from the usual engine self check, starter button completely dead. Battery is OK, and Iīve replaced all relays and both diodes. Fuses are OK. What's the problem?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say maybe starter solenoid. I'm no mechanic by any means, just something I'd check. I'm sure the usual suspects around here that know these bikes waaaaaaaay better than I do will chime in with the EXACT solution. Bad connection in switchgear housing possibly...

Is the switch in the run position? Sometimes people have a brain fart. Check your battery cables and make sure tight and all your grounds. Or like Wally said it could be in the switch

Is the switch in the run position......heard that one on here before Rich, pretty sure I've dropped some F bombs and did that myself as well before.

Well, it's fixed. Good Job Rich, because if he asked me how to check a bad starter solenoid the word screwdriver was gonna be used. Lmfao
