    New Harleys?

I like the streetfighter. Reminds me of the XR a little.

There is a big lesson in all this--that is to recognize corporate inertia, or institutionalized thinking or rather lack of thinking.

I know it is a what if game but HD would have had it all had they done 2 things--stuck with and encouraged Erik Buell and developed the V-Rod into a full faired sport tourer.

Now HD is grasping(gasping) and serves them right. For all the macho posing and image that they try to portray, it all falls down to a big lack of courage to go in the obvious direction. I guess that is why you see a lot HD guys riding around in packs--kind of a herd think.

That Adventure bike looks like something that came out of a Siberian factory. I just can't get past that front fairing. Looks clunky. Long over due idea for Harley though. An EBR influenced Adventure bike would have been the way to go if you ask me.

The Future Street Fighter looks pretty cool. Definitely will spruce up the showroom.

I guess enough old school "Air cooled or die" Harley riders are now dying off and now Harley can get away with liquid cooled motors. I'm still hearing the moans and crying when the V Rod came out.

I really like it. About time for real brakes and some ground clearance. Looks like a fun ride to me.

To be competitive it's gonna need 140hp, decent torque, under 450 pounds, 4.5 gallon tank, good electronics i.e. modern dashboard, a wheelbase that'll give it some flickability, a great exhaust tone and most importantly a fair price.
