It's a pretty cool idea, I haven't been able to figure out how to buy one yet, has anyone tried one ?
I believe they take a deposit. If they raise enough money on deposits to make the project worthwhile, they build. It looks like they are getting close in backers. Says delivery dates are Jan 2020.
I've bought knives this way before. If it doesn't get enough interest or deposits they don't build and you get your money back. At least that's how it works as far as I know.
