    2009 xb12r mirror question

Hey guys, bought the bike yesterday. How the heck do you adjust the mirrors?
Also is there a handlebar riser kit available for the bike?

Are your mirrors not staying where you adjust them? Pull back the rubber covering the hardware on the mirror and tighten the hardware if it’s loose.
Your bike is an XBR, it should have clip -ons that are built into the top triple tree. If it doesn’t then your set up isn’t stock.
Either way look into hero-bars, they make a lot of options for modifying clip on set up.

Thanks, they are attached to the bottom of the fairing and are bolted in with 2 small bolts on each side

    Bottom?
Should be at the top, on either side of the windscreen

The mirrors on the firebolt are horrible. I got rid of mine and went with bar end mirrors. Got tired of looking at my arms in the mirrors. Can see way better with bar end mirrors. Plus they are cheap enough if they get broke. That's how I feel about them.

How much did it cost to have them installed?

Nothing. Had to upbolt the old ones, cut the 2 wires, feed the new wires in the windshield, connect the wires and bolt the new ones in. Very easy
