I know Buell made some "upgrades" in the 2008 plus years. Is it best to choose a later year vs the 2007?

I have no clue about that. I own two 2003's and they have been bulletproof! All the other cats on here are hip to what yrs had what. Again my 03's have been tough as nails with NOTHING other than basic maintenance.

Better oil pump & higher rev on the 08 is worth every penny. 08, and the 09,10 have better brakes.the 08-up crank has a larger 1.5 inch diameter crank pin vs. the 1.25 inch crank pin on the earlier cranks. It also has stronger connecting rods. . 09,10 best yrs, IMO. but getting harder to find. Dont get me wrong all are Great bikes!

I was just lucky to get this 09 bike low miles one owner ,I am like chopper very frugal.

Hope I'm not crossing a line here, but is $6,000 too much to pay for an 07 STT with a little over 8,000k - no mods (it's a different bike than what you posted)? It's a super clean bike with a good history. Just seems a bit steep. Especially given the bike you shared above.
I purchased a used 07TT about 6 years ago with less than 2K miles for $5000

Yeah $6000 is way high. I just picked up an 08 STT with just under 1000 miles for $4k. Hold out for the 08+. .......unless you want an 04/05 to turbo 😊
