Very nice ^^^^^
Hey John. I waited for a while after the announcement to buy mine. Once the dealers began to get scared about being stuck with inventory is when I started looking. I bought mine over the phone from Bumpus HD in Murfreesboro, TN. $6400 otd. I kept the bike a little over a year and had a guy offer me $6300 for it. I sold it and then regretted it a few months later. I really liked the all black look on that bike. As far as the mountains go, you're really close with your observation. The BRP is about 35 miles north of me. The mountain in this pic is called Sauratown Mtn. in Stokes county. The thing that makes these mountains unique to Stokes County is the fact that the Sauratown Mountain Range is the only mountain range in the continental United States that is contained completely within the borders of only one county. This shot was taken about 15 minutes from my house. My sons house is at the base.

Stop it you two, I don’t need another motorcycle. Must resist.
Can you tell me the seat height. I understand the SS mdels are taller than a regular lightning
Thanks
Ron
Crossroads -7 degree bars, clip-on style OE handles and levers. I have stock mirrors, but not the stock bar. A friend used that 4" rise stock bar as a 4" drop bar on a suzuki bandit streetfighter/cafe style build
32-33" off the floor without anyone sitting on the bike
This is my old SS. I still regret selling it.

I'd love to replace it, but I'm realizing that I like project bikes more than "just put gas in and ride" ones.
I've been contemplating another M2 and doing a XB wheel/fork conversion. Damn Cooter.

So, whatcha getting? I enjoy projects.
I am rebuilding a Honda GL650 into a cafe bike...but keep getting derailed into another Buell.
seems like everyone owns a black lightning at least once
